The summer is quickly heating up. On this wedding day, temps were 104 degrees! Yuck! The centerpieces were in the shade, so we had our fingers crossed all would hold up in the warm weather.
These wedding flowers were entirely grown in CA! Most were grown by us in Roseville. Luckily our garden rose bushes pumped out just enough roses to make this bouquet romantic and sweet. We love the tiny white climber rose bush we have that adds just enough cascade and flow to the bouquets. Our zinnias and cosmos were complimented zinnias and some cosmos grown by our good friend Katie, who owns Flower Mama in Davis. It’s so nice having other farmer florists in the area to save the day when we are in need of flowers! The olive and eucalyptus were foraged from our Bride’s families property. How special is that! Then to round out the bouquet we used CA grown white dahlias from the wholesaler. Boy do we wish dahlias grew better in our climate! We’ve struggled so much with them over the years.
