I rummaged through the garden yesterday in search of flowers and foliage. We’ve finally had some rain lately, so the flowers are kind of a hit and miss right now. Dusty, the farm cat, followed me around hopping through the plants. I gathered garden roses, antiqued hydrangeas, moldy zinnias, half-dead mums, snowberries, early anemones, forsythia branches that shouldn’t be blooming until February, and a single stem of paperwhites that I found in the shade garden! There’s even a stem of orangey pink bougainvillea in there! Take a peek below to see the moody fall bouquet I created in an old ceramic pot my mom has had for years.
